Adoption Assessment

Work with families who are in the process of adopting a child (children). Home visit to meet with the petitioning adoptive parents, adoptive child/children, and other family members. Thorough assessment, submission of Adoption Forms and formal recommendation to the presiding judge/court.

Back to School / Starting School

Work with children preparing for and/or returning to school. Pre-school through 12th grade. Tools and techniques in regards to: Anxiety, Separation Anxiety, homesickness, making friends, conflict resolution, ADHD, organization, time management, study skills, nutrition, exercise, sleep habits, relaxation, academic responsibilities, bullying, etc.

Camp Prep

Work with children ages 6-16 prepare for their first time headed off to day camp/ sleep away camp/ or returning to camp. Includes tools and techniques such as: how to make new friends, dealing with social/emotional issues, anxiety, homesickness, stress reduction, relaxation, anger management, conflict resolution, sleep habits, nutrition, exercise, utilizing support systems, etc.

College 101

Work with children ages 6-16 prepare for their first time headed off to day camp/ sleep away camp/ or returning to camp. Includes tools and techniques such as: how to make new friends, dealing with social/emotional issues, anxiety, homesickness, stress reduction, relaxation, anger management, conflict resolution, sleep habits, nutrition, exercise, utilizing support systems, etc.

Divorce Made Easier

Work with parents and children (individually and together) who are going through the process of separation/divorce. Scheduling, improve communication, emotional issues, understanding and assisting in the process in general, emotionally, legally, etc.

Social Skills Group

Work with small groups of similarly aged children to improve social skills. These groups are formed with sensitivity to the needs of the group participants. Social skills tools and techniques are modified in regards to ADHD, Anxiety, PTSD, Autism Spectrum, Depression, Social Isolation, Bullying (Physical/Relational Aggression), Developmental Disorders, etc.

Work with parents and children (and other family members involved) who are either informally seeking treatment or court ordered for the purposes of reunification due to Divorce/Separation, Parental Alienation, Abuse, Neglect, In Need of Supervision, Parenting skills/Therapy, Completion of a mandated or privately attended In/Out Patient Substance Abuse Program or Mental Health In/Out Patient Program, or Recent Release from Prison.

Crisis Intervention

Work with individuals, couples, and families who have experienced a significant trauma. Traumas include but are not limited to: Sexual Assault, Rape, Sexual Harassment, Domestic Violence, Physical Assault, Abuse (emotional, mental, physical, sexual, financial, etc.), Any Crime (reported/not-reported), Loss/Grief, Suicide, Car Accident, Other Accidents that have caused physical and/or psychological outcomes, Substance Abuse/Addiction related issues, 9-11 related issues, Residential Loss (due to fire/storm/financial, etc).
